The time before the wedding is not only feverish waiting to promise eternal love on the wedding carpet. This is a period of hot preparations that require a lot of work and commitment. How to plan a unique wedding? An important stage of preparation is the search for a wedding venue. 

There is no one universal one wedding venues. Choosing the perfect hall is an individual matter that depends on several factors. When choosing a wedding venue, you need to consider:

  • wedding budget – the first, most important factor; it will largely depend on how many guests the couple can invite, or whether they can afford some bonus facilities (e.g. wedding gardenin which additional attractions will be organized),
  • the number of invited guests - a different room will work for an intimate, 30-person wedding, and we need another to organize a grand party for 150 people,
  • wedding style – matching the premises to the chosen theme of the party is the key to creating a beautiful, coherent arrangement,
  • location and surroundings of the wedding venue,
  • additional elements - i.e. local attractions, access to the premises, availability of accommodation, organizational matters (contract with the premises, traffic jams, ZAiKS).

How much does it cost to rent a wedding hall?

When considering where to hold a wedding, first of all, you need to consider the cost of renting individual venues. Many people make the decision to choose a particular wedding hall based on the final price of the service.

Wedding venues usually charge a fee for the so-called a plate. The price includes the cost of the main dinner consisting of soup, main course and dessert, 2-3 hot side dishes served usually every 3 hours and plates of cold appetizers that are on the tables. Sometimes the price also includes a certain number of soft drinks per person, partial decoration of the room, or waiter service. The cost of one plate can range from 100 to even several hundred zlotys, depending on the type and number of dishes, ingredients used, location and reputation of the hall.

The cost of renting the hall usually accounts for the largest percentage of the total price of the wedding. In order to reduce costs, couples usually cut the guest list or give up less important elements - e.g. a country table or other additional attractions.

The size of the wedding hall

The second important issue is size wedding hall. Before choosing a venue, consider who to invite to the wedding. Certainly, not all invited guests will eventually appear at the party for personal reasons. It is important, however, to determine the estimated number of wedding guests. We will look for a different room for a party of 50 people, and another for a large wedding for 150 people. 

A spacious wedding hall is a bit harder to find than a small venue. A lot of interest in larger facilities forces newlyweds to make reservations well in advance (even a year or two in advance). Some are looking for other alternatives that will enable them to organize a party in their dream hall much faster - e.g. wedding on Sunday or Friday. 

Why does the number of invited guests matter? Because the comfort of the wedding guests is extremely important! Every bride and groom wants each person to feel good and have a great time at the party.

The style of the wedding is something that binds the whole event together, giving it a unique character. Wedding themes is not only the right stationery, decorations and matching outfits of the bride and groom. The nature of the wedding hall is also of great importance. The dream style of the wedding is therefore an important criterion for choosing the venue where the party will take place.

What themes dominate Polish weddings? Couples most often decide to choose a specific color as the leitmotif - e.g. powder pink, blue or gold. They combine the selected color with wedding white, creating beautiful, romantic decorations. A wedding with a color theme can be organized both in a classic wedding hall, as well as in a restaurant or other facility. 

Another idea is to use one of the popular arrangement styles. The rustic and glamor style is particularly popular in the wedding industry.

The first one refers to the earth and nature. It is dominated by natural materials, bright colors and everything that is light and subtle. A rustic wedding can be organized in a tent, outdoors or a wooden barn. A classic wedding hall will also work great. The trick is to decorate it properly.

Glamor wedding

The glamor style combines extraordinary elegance with glamor. Such wedding arrangements are dominated by glitter, gold and luxury. Tasteful tableware, peonies or roses in glass vases and crystals in various forms appear on the tables. All this gives the interior an incredibly romantic atmosphere, perfectly fitting into the glamor style. The hall has an area of 200 m2, and thanks to that it can accommodate up to 170 people.

Where to organize a wedding - the hustle and bustle of the city or seclusion?

A wedding is a special celebration of love, which is celebrated in the company of loved ones. It is best to do it away from the hustle and bustle of the city, somewhere in a quiet area - where we will not be reached by the curious glances of passers-by and will not be distracted by the sounds of the bustling city. Such a place is undoubtedly the Karkonosze Mountains!

The Karkonosze Mountains delight even the most demanding people with their beauty. Celebrating with a view of the majestic mountain peaks surrounded by lush vegetation will be a unique experience that will generate a lot of amazing memories.

Where to organize a wedding - what else should you pay attention to?

The access to the wedding venue has a great impact on where to organize the wedding. The selected venue should be located in a convenient location - so that every wedding guest can easily find a place. There should be a parking lot on the property where guests can leave their private cars.

In the case of weddings outside the city, the availability of accommodation for guests will be a plus. Thanks to this, wedding guests, after an all-night party, will be able to go to the previously booked rooms for a peaceful rest, instead of returning to their homes.

It is worth checking if the property offers any additional amenities. A great advantage will be access to the wedding garden, where guests will be able to go to get some fresh air during the party. In the garden you can also organize attractions for children - e.g. an inflatable playground or corners for various activities.

When choosing a venue for a wedding, you need to take into account all technical issues, i.e.:

  • contract - the document is a kind of security for both parties, 
  • cork - cork at a wedding is the fee for bringing your own alcohol,
  • fee ZAiKS – whether the selected premises have a license or do you have to do it yourself,
  • service and support - is it included in the price.

This is an individual matter that depends on the dreams of future newlyweds, the budget they have, the nature of the party and other elements. The search for the perfect room can take some time. However, it's worth being patient. Lovers will remember their wedding for the rest of their lives. That is why it is important that it is exactly what they dreamed of!
