The wedding usually lasts until dawn. However, the end of the party does not necessarily mean the end of the celebration. The newly-weds together with their guests can return to the crazy celebration of the wedding day after a short rest. How? After-party! Where did this custom come from? How to organize a wedding reception that will delight guests? 

What are wedding corrections? 

Improvement is a continuation of the wedding. It is a party organized the day after the wedding. The tradition of making corrections refers to old Polish customs. It used to be believed that one day of celebration is definitely not enough to fully express the happiness and joy associated with this unique event. Celebrating the wedding lasted even several days. Improvements showed the hospitality of the Bride and Groom. Today wedding without corrections is nothing extraordinary. Wedding after-party in the form of a masquerade ball - is it a good idea? 

A masquerade ball seems to be a very unusual idea for an after-party. A wedding is a solemn, formal event. The wedding should also be elegant and sumptuous. However, you can go a bit more crazy on corrections. This is a great opportunity to loosen up a bit, to loosen up. And not necessarily make the decision dependent on the season - not only wedding during the carnival entitles you to play dress-up! 

A costume party can be organized in wedding hall. It will work great for this ballroom. If the facility where the wedding took place has a garden, part of it parties can be moved there - especially if the wedding takes place in spring or summer. Improvements in the garden it's a hit! The proximity of nature will give the party an amazing character and will allow guests to relax and unwind. 

Guests should be informed about the after-party in the form of a masquerade ball much earlier - preferably at the time of inviting them to the wedding. Wedding guests must prepare for them - m.in. choose the characters they want to dress up as and organize the costumes. The bride and groom can also prepare costumes for the guests themselves. All you need to do is buy some interesting gadgets and accessories and then give them to your guests.

An interesting idea for a wedding reception in the form of a masquerade ball is theme party. Future newlyweds can choose a specific theme - for example, a Hollywood party or a Hawaiian-themed party. Guests should dress in accordance with the guidelines of the established theme.

The organization of corrections in the morning does not make sense. Guests may be tired after the wedding. It is worth letting them sleep, rest after an all-night celebration. It's best to make it in the afternoon. The ideal time for the party will be 14-15. 

The menu at the after-party does not have to be as lavish as at the wedding. For an intimate party, a classic dinner consisting of two courses and a dessert will be perfect. You can't forget about the cold snack platters. The menu may include such dishes as chicken soup, sour soup, cream soup, meat with salad and potatoes, wedding cakes, cold cuts, salads and eggs. On the grill you can serve pork neck, steaks, chicken breast, sausages and baked potatoes. The menu at a costume party or a theme party should be adapted to the theme.

What to wear for the corrections? It all depends on their character. Creations for an intimate dinner do not have to be as elegant as wedding stylizations. The bride can put on a light, subtle cocktail dress - for example, a flared model in white color decorated with delicate flowers. The groom can bet on an elegant jacket with an interesting look print and matching pants. You can dress freely for the barbecue. In the case of a fancy dress party, it all depends on your preferences. Let your imagination run wild and go a little crazy. This is a great opportunity to impersonate your favorite movie or book character. 

 Is it worth organizing corrections? Of course! Wedding after-party is a great way to extend the wedding. Both the newlyweds and their guests will certainly not forget about such an event for a long time.
