Arado project

Project Arado, or Hitler's Lost Laboratory, is an underground town hiding many secrets, located in the town of Kamienna Góra in Lower Silesia. At the moment, the complex serves as an interactive tourist route located in underground tunnels, giving us a chance to discover the secrets that this place hides.

Design Arado was located in Kamienna Góra - a town located in the Bóbr valley, with a hill called Góra Parkowa. It was under it that, since 1943, prisoners of forced labor camps from the Gross Rosen branch were digging an underground complex, the purpose of which was an underground factory of weapons and aircraft constructions, which could not be fired upon by the Allies. The name of the project is associated with the design office of the ARADO company located in the town, which is the author of, among others, the most famous World War II jet, the Arado 234.

Arado project is one of the few objects located in the underground of the mountains of Lower Silesia, whose purpose is precisely known. In the case of the unfinished 'Riese' project, historians are still pondering over the final destination of the complexes created as part of it.

The Arado project is the perfect place for history lovers. However, even tourists who are not necessarily passionate about wars can see this underground complex. For example, while staying on the now so popular wedding in the mountains. There are plenty of facilities, restaurants and bars in this region wedding halls - Lower Silesia is a real wedding and event hub.
