They associate such a ceremony with a huge and pathetic banquet and a whole retinue of bridesmaids. right? It is worth verifying your knowledge about this type of parties.  

How to organize an American-style wedding?

In America, a wedding ceremony begins with a wedding, usually outdoors. The bride is usually introduced to the ceremony by her father or another male representative of her family. The latter, in beautiful natural circumstances or in one of the wedding halls, gives his daughter into the hands of the future spouse. We can successfully make this vision of the bride and groom come true. Gathered guests can admire the touching act of taking the oath. Thanks to the unique infrastructure and location of the facility, both the wedding ceremony and the reception will take place in one place. When organizing a wedding, regardless of the style, it is important that nothing happens by accident. An American-style wedding, in addition to an outdoor wedding, consists of many elements. This includes throwing a bouquet by the Bride or children carrying rings. It is the future spouses who decide which ones they want to use during their celebration. 

 After the ceremony and solemn oath, the Young Couple is showered with rose petals. Not the way it is according to our custom: rice and pennies. Even if the wedding does not take place outdoors, there is no need to give up the tradition of introducing the bride by her father and showering the newlyweds with flowers after the ceremony. Then all this takes place in front of the church or the Registry Office. Then the bride and groom together with the wedding guests go to the wedding hall, where the second part of the ceremony takes place. 

In Poland, the newlyweds entering the wedding hall are treated to bread and salt, and champagne is served to the guests. An American-style wedding cannot do without a cocktail bar. Drinks and snacks served for the next hour are to gently relax the atmosphere and allow guests to get to know each other. Meanwhile, the bride and groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen prepare for the grand entrance.

The ceremonial entrance to the hall during American weddings takes place completely differently than what we know from traditional Polish weddings parties. All guests sit at their tables. Then the bride's parents, groom's parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen enter the room in turn. And only at the end - the Bride and Groom themselves. The whole spectacle is accompanied by the Bride and Groom's favorite song.  

Speeches are another tradition taken from America, which is becoming more and more popular among Polish young couples. Traditionally, the fathers of the Bride and the Groom speak first, followed by the best man. However, the order is arbitrary and it is decided by the Bride and Groom.
