How to serve ice cream?

We all love ice cream and everyone knows that it is one of the desserts that must be eaten immediately after serving. Serving them at a wedding involves the risk that guests will receive melted mush instead of a perfectly frozen mass. If you want to prevent such a situation, you have to choose one of two forms of serving ice cream.

The first one is a single portion for one guest, which is served at a specific time. It can be a dessert served after the first meal, an addition to coffee or a bit of sweetness in the evening. In such a situation, all guests receive ice cream at the same time, with no choice of flavor, but with the certainty that it will not have time to melt. It is better to leave the matter of serving to the staff.

In a wafer or in a cup?

Ice cream can be served in two ways: in a cone or a cup. The method of serving depends partly on whether you prefer to serve all guests at once. Then it is best to bet on a cup that will look better on the table and allow for an aesthetic form of serving ice cream. You can add wafers in the form of a cone to it, which can also be eaten with taste, and children.

Ice cream served in cups is the safest form of serving them, for which parents of younger children will especially be grateful. Even if the ice cream melts, it will stay in the cup, not on the festive clothes. Newlyweds usually wonder what a wedding cake to choose. And here's a hint - ice cream can also be served in the form cake, as an alternative to classic biscuit baking. However, it must be remembered that such a cake will require proper storage, waiting to be served.

Ice cream for a wedding - the best flavors

Everyone has different taste buds. If you want to please all guests, you should give them the opportunity to choose their favorite ice cream. It is obvious that you will not be able to serve an infinite number of flavors, so the key to success is a well-thought-out menu. This is where the question usually arises - traditional ice cream for a wedding or unusual variations?

The classic is always in the price, so vanilla and chocolate ice cream will be a hit. There should also be a fruit variant. This is a basic composition that will suit the tastes of all guests, but you can expand it with a little more interesting flavor combinations. Raspberry or mango with mint is a very refreshing proposition, which we especially recommend on hot days. Children and guests who are fans of very sweet ice cream will surely be delighted with the combination of Oreo, Rafaello or Kinder Bueno with peanut butter and Nutella. Slightly more subdued and dry are dried fruit, nut and caramel ice cream, although the latter should be combined with a salty note.

The optimal choice is 6 to 8 different flavors. It is worth combining classics with unobvious flavors, thanks to which you will satisfy the palates of each guest.
