How to choose the right alcohols for a wedding?

Tips
Good alcohol for a wedding

Organizing wedding party we want everything to be up to the last button. The biggest nightmare for the Bride and Groom is the situation when the wedding guests feel neglected. Why? Because they have only food, drinks or alcohol to choose from, which they do not particularly like. And yet everyone at the wedding should feel special, like at a real feast for the senses and the palate. That's why it's important for the offer to be varied. Alcohol for a wedding is quite a contentious issue - how to get out of it?

According to tradition, there must be a high-proof liquor at the wedding. Organizing for most wedding vodka is the basis. Even if there are wedding parties without alcohol, they are still rare. However, in recent years we have observed a fairly large increase in the popularity of wine over vodka, especially among people from the young and middle generation. What alcohols to choose so that our guests are fully satisfied, have fun and remember our wedding for years? Here are some valuable tips for the future Bride and Groom.

Alcohol for a wedding - what is worth knowing?

First of all, high quality. Let's not try to save by buying alcohols for a wedding of lower quality. It's an apparent economy. If it turned out that alcohol is not to the taste of the guests, it could spoil the whole fun of the wedding. Remember that bad news travels much faster than good news. And none of us would like a situation when the whole wedding gossips about "something wrong with this vodka" and that would be the number 1 topic of the party, remembered for years. IMPORTANT: make a controlled purchase of vodka. Try it and only after tasting buy the right amount for the whole wedding. In addition, if the guests do not like the drink you choose, many bottles will be left after the wedding, and unfortunately not every wholesaler accepts returns of surplus alcohol.

Second, tradition. “Even at the most modern wedding, you should remember about the classic white vodka. For many people, it is still the basis of wedding fun, so it should not be missing at any wedding. Remember that vodka at the wedding should be served in the smallest glasses possible - not everyone can refuse a toast every 15 minutes. Frequent toasts with large glasses will have a deplorable effect,” advises Joanna Hoc-Kopiej, a wedding expert at Dwór Korona Karkonoszy. Vodka must be very chilled (even frosted) and stand on tables in special coolers. Warm alcohol could seriously harm wedding guests.

Third, diversity. In recent years, the preferences of Poles have changed a lot. Wedding alcohols are not only vodka, which has had a significant position at weddings for years. In addition to vodka, we should definitely buy a larger amount of dry or semi-dry white and red wine. The younger (also older) generation will certainly be happy to drink a few glasses of this particular drink. At each wedding there should also be a corner of colored alcohols (whiskey, gin, rum, etc.).

Fourth, the return of alcohol. If you buy a large amount of alcohol and you don't know if there will be too much vodka left, and you don't want to take, for example, 40 bottles home after the wedding - arrange a possible return with the wholesaler in advance. Also, don't put wedding stickers on the bottles.

Drink bar - colorful alcohols for the wedding

Another solution is to rent a drink bar, which will prepare drinks of their choice at the guests' request. Drink Master has at its disposal not only alcohol, but also juices, carbonated drinks, fruit and bartender syrups.

Thanks to such a set, it is able to create perfect colorful cocktails. The drink bar also offers delicious non-alcoholic drinks, which, at the request of each guest, the bartender will prepare according to his own concept or well-known recipes. A non-alcoholic drink will be indistinguishable from an alcoholic drink, and the guest will avoid unnecessary questions about why he does not drink alcohol.

Alcohols available in the drink bar will be a great alternative for people who do not like vodka. They will then be able to drink whiskey, rum or gin, according to their own individual preferences. At the same time, the young couple will not have to worry that one of the guests will not find the right drink for themselves, because the bartender is able to make something that will appeal to each of the guests.

The drink bar is also a great option for an outdoor wedding or after-party. The bar can then be installed on the terrace of the facility or in the garden and enjoyed in a specially prepared chillout zone. Nothing stands in the way of renting a drink bar for two wedding days - but it depends on the wedding budget. Surely this idea will appeal to guests for whom alcoholic beverages are one of the main attractions at the wedding.

We should also remember that when choosing a drink bar, we should stock up on slightly less vodka. Certainly, colorful drinks will be a real attraction, so guests will drink much less white vodka. Good planning of alcohol expenses will even save on this element of the wedding.

Spirits for an international wedding

In addition, a good solution in the case of international weddings (e.g. Polish-British) is to serve several types of Polish craft beers - currently it is a sensation at weddings and causes a very positive surprise of guests. Important: beer should be served only at the after-party, so that the guests do not mix different alcohols during the wedding. We especially recommend ours craft beer AIPA DKK.

All kinds of gates, organized after the wedding by neighbors and friends of the Bride and Groom, should be marked with a "purchase" sign. It is usually a bottle of vodka, thanks to which the newlyweds will be able to go further.

If someone from the Bride and Groom's environment, e.g. father or uncle, creates their own alcoholic products, e.g. tinctures, it is also a great proposition also for the wedding. Tincture can successfully replace vodka on the gates. In addition, it can also be used in the drink bar. If the bride and groom have no idea how to thank the guests, home-made cherries, quince or aronia liqueurs will be a great gift that guests will be happy to take home.

Now all that's left is to have fun, taste drinks, dance and sing until dawn :)
