In Poland, the custom of creating emergency baskets for guests is not as popular as in other countries. He came to us a few years ago from across the ocean. This is a very practical solution that can be very helpful in crisis situations.

Rescue basket - wedding with a plan B  

A wedding reception is an event that requires an impeccable image from us. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Even ballroom dazzles, torn trousers from the headstock, a stain of broth on a children's suit or a spoiled hairstyle after a lively dance - they can effectively spoil the mood. After all, the most important thing at a wedding is that all guests feel comfortable and at ease. Wedding guests usually do not have accessories that would allow them to cope with crisis situations. A small woman's handbag or suit pockets will not fit too many things. Newlyweds should take care of the availability of all necessary accessories. Guests will appreciate such a gesture. This will certainly affect their physical and mental comfort. 

What should be in an emergency basket for a wedding? First of all, basic hygiene products, cosmetics and various accessories. It is worth preparing two versions - women's and men's. The baskets can be placed in the toilets or in front of the entrance to the toilets.

The emergency basket for ladies should contain accessories that will allow them to improve their wedding dress in crisis situations. 

First of all, you should put hair products in the basket - such as hairspray, brush and comb, classic black bobby pins and a few rubber bands in different colors. Such a set will allow you to fix a damaged hairstyle. You can also put matting papers in the basket, which will allow you to remove excess sebum from your wedding make-up. 

A feminine emergency basket for a wedding should be supplemented with: 

• safety pins, scissors and a needle with thread, 
• painkillers and plasters, 
• several pairs of tights, 
• hygienic, wet and intimate wipes, 
• chewing gum or mints, 
• stain remover stick and clothes roll, 
• deodorant, sanitary napkins, tampons and panty liners, 
• perfume, hand cream, clear nail polish and a nail file. 

Wedding basket for men 

You can't forget about the male part of the wedding guests. The groom puts a lot of effort into his appearance. Itself folding a pocket square for a wedding requires extreme focus. What can he use during a wedding? In the rescue basket for the Groom and other grooms, it is worth putting hair gel, comb, deodorant, black socks and shoe polish. It has become common to call a wedding kit a rescue basket. But of course it could be something else. It all depends on the preferences and ideas of the Bride and Groom. The perfect solution is to choose an element that perfectly fits into the style of the wedding reception. This will allow you to create a coherent, unique arrangement. 

Delicate, wicker basket will be perfect when organizing retro style wedding or Provencal. For boho or rustic parties, you can choose a designer box made of natural wood. And for the wedding and style wedding glamor – an elegant quilted trunk or an impressive glass container.  

Another idea is to use:

• decorative pots or buckets, 
• large jars. 

Rescue basket - a wedding personalized in every way 

The rescue basket must be marked accordingly. It is worth providing it with an inscription that will explain to guests what is inside - e.g. "Special tasks basket", "Wedding first aid kit for guests", "SOS basket" or "Emergency basket". A good solution is to supplement the main marking with an additional inscription ("Use when necessary" or "Accessories for unforeseen situations") and with appropriate personalization (names of newlyweds and wedding date). 

It is best to put the selected inscription on the basket (in the form of a sticker, engraving or printing). Another solution is to prepare an elegant, decorative card, which will be placed next to the rescue basket. 

You can put products in their original packaging in the basket. However, a better idea is to create a coherent set of accessories. Cosmetics, hygiene products and other items should be placed in identical boxes with personalized stickers, matching the theme of the wedding. A basket prepared in this way will perfectly fit into the atmosphere of the party.
