In the 1920s, big cities like Paris, London, New York and Berlin attracted all kinds of adventurers. Advances in technology and the development of the media have made life faster and more intense. Thanks to the mass production of cars, it was much easier to move around. This era is associated with refined manners, chic costumes, jazz music and artistic freedom, which was expressed in avant-garde art. And yet, when we think of this era, the first thing that comes to mind is - fun! Cabarets, bars, dance parties - this is where time was spent.

In the 1920s, women became increasingly emancipated. These were the first years after World War I, during which they had to go to work to replace the men fighting at the front. And they couldn't be locked up at home anymore! They were then given the right to vote in some countries. They valued independence and were able to wipe the nose of many men with their skills. In addition, the women of the time had another weapon up their sleeve in the fight for greater personal freedom - heavy makeup! Previously, it was used mainly by women of loose morals, but in the 1920s it became an attribute of the so-called liberated women. Those who want to change the ossified world order and are aware that it is worth fighting for a different, better life.

Although then women shortened their hair and skirts, went to work and to parties, but they did not lose anything of their elegance. When they smoked cigarettes through a long and elegant pipe, men preferred cigars. So it's good to remember about these attributes during a party in the style of the 1920s.
